Just curious, how much is a taxi ride from Temecula to the airport? Is there a shuttle service that serivices the area?
I’ll answer the question, but it’s not a viable option for the OP because her situation requires relatives nearby, plu frequent flyers should be closer to an airport.
But the answer is, most temeculans avoid the San Diego airport. Ontario is easier and I feel it offers better flight selection at lower prices (usually). It’s an international airpiort, yet you can park a few hundred feet from the terminal for less than offsite parking in San Diego. The parking lot walk is akin to parking at costco on a busy day, it’s fantastic, right off the freeway and it’s closer or a tie as far as distance with SD airport, yet there’s very little traffic from home to that airport. Last year I had a friend visit a few times from Buenos Aires and the flights to/from Ontairio were always cheaper and shorter than those using SD’s airport. But there are shuttles, I just dont use them. Ontario’s long term parking is about as close as SD’s short term parking, probably closer. I think it’s $8 or $10 a day to park right in front of the terminal, for a four or five day trip, it’s probably the same or cheaper than a shuttle, but I’m guessing, shuttles add time to my trip and I’m impatient that way.
Regarding the jokes BG, while it was a true story, please do not take my unique form of humor as somethig that needs correcting, the “ad” joke was actually a joke, I thought that would be easy to spot. The childless woman was nearing 40 (an especially dangerous demographic, but I’m always optimistic that exceptions exist).
Personally I thought the red flag/moscow parade joke was the one that you were laughing at, I thought that was hilarious when I made it up.
