I don’t know about that. Maybe AP class is much harder now than when I went to HS, but when I slack in regular class, I get an A and depend on the teacher but I can slack in an AP class and still get an A or B. I must really try to get C or below. HS ain’t hard even at the AP level. I say JC is much tougher than AP and have much higher competitions. If your kids truly wants to push the boundary of their capability, take JC class during HS. It will prepare you much more than AP ever will.
