But the cities of the 70s are the not same as the cities of today.

These days, social and demographic trends happen faster than people’s ability to adapt, or adjust their preconceptions.

Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, LA, Orlando, San Diego, etc… were nothing but huge suburbs — sprawl.

Big cities with well defined suburbs are Chicago, NY, Philly, Boston (SF is a small city).[/quote]

Exactly Brian and that is where MOST americans live on the east coast where population is most dense and people know what city living is.
