I am very active at 49, have great pulse and blood pressure and decent endurance, without any deliberate exercise routine. I could get in better shape for appearance sake, but don’t care much about that. More stretching or yoga,anything relaxing would be good.
Most middle aged people and up should be very careful about running…especially as a coping mechanism for eating and drinking too much. A few good years running could lead to many years of barely being able to walk. Use it while you are learning better habits perhaps, but stay super moderate.
