Another point about Perry’s job creation is that the majority of it is public sector jobs (teachers, school admin, police, fire, etc) created to keep up with the population growth. The reason why unemployment is so high there despite all this “job growth” is because Texas has been unable to keep up with its population.
So was Perry for the growth of big government before he was against it?
Also, apparently abstinence education works, despite the fact that Texas has the 3rd highest teen pregnancy rate in the country.
