Gated should cut down traffic on your streets which makes them safer for kids. Community pools (if nice) are great too as you dont have to spend the time or money to maintain it yourself and there are often other kids there for your kids to play with. We love the pool in our community. Same goes for tot lots/parks here and we have a big backyard too.
