that’s an excellent point.
the converse is if you are powerful and strong and confident, you end up converting people into your tribe.
we can look at the Arabs and the Chinese. Arabs thru trade and invasions, assimilated surrounding people over and over again. For example, the Egyptians completely lost their separate identity and language over time.
Meanwhile, the Chinese suffered constant invasions from the north, but the power of the Chinese culture ended up assimilating the conquerors. Prime example are the Manchus, by conquering China, they became Chinese, they lost their own identity, and their language essentially became extinct.
The American culture remains the dominant force in the world, this dominance almost guarantee the great majority of immigrants become essentially American. If not in 1 generation certainly in a couple of generation.
there is no need to fear “invasions” of Mexicans. not when most them simply are driven to become one of us.
