Here is a new listing that just popped up on Pacific Street for about $1M. SDLookup didnt have it up yet this morning but it should get updated shortly. Its a 2/2 1500 SF beach cottage on a 5,000 lot (good size for the location) and its literally a stones throw from the ocean. The houses across the street are oceanfront. The location is fabulous a short walk from Fletcher Cove.
The interesting thing is the house was sold in 2004, 2005 and 2006 for roughly the same price and its on the market again. I think this speaks to the reality of doing a major renovation that close to the beach in CA. Coastal Commission? Broken dreams?
