I absolutely agree about the noise being a tough resale and the importance of checking it out multiple times at various times of day.

True story. About 7 years ago I had clients who wanted to buy a home overlooking the 5 in Carlsbad with absolutely amazing panoramic ocean views. They were a bit older and said the noise didnt phase them. I made them sit out in the rain under an umbrella (when its noisiest) for 30 minutes (I sat with them). I said if it still doesnt bother you after that you should be fine. They said it didnt, but made me take them out for soup at L’Especial De Norte after because we were all so cold. They still love it and it still doesnt bother them. We still laugh about that incident to this day.
