The point is that:
whereas liberals are permissive and forgiving of people’s weakenesses,
whereas conservatives are cut and dry about sins and morals,
it’s hyprocritical to preach something and do the exact opposite.
Christopher Lee was preaching consersatives moral ideals; and it’s plain obvious that he was trolling for sex with women (and maybe men) on Craiglist.
It’s likely he resigned abruptly because other chat/sex partners could come forward.

Just because you think it and then type it here, does not make it true. The point is that men are flawed, particularly politicians. It doesn’t matter what party they are from. I’m sure you would agree that historically there is not much difference in the number of sex or harassment scandals from either side. The article you cited points out that a Democrat recently was forced to step down – but you failed to mention that.
Point to any article, anywhere, that would lead you to suggest that Lee may have been trolling craigslist for men. It’s not out there. You just suggest it to be a dick. No one ever said sex is a sin, but you put that out there like they have. However, many politicians on either side would agree that adultery is a sin. See the difference?
How about providing us with a list of all of the Democrats and Progressives that campaigned on an agenda of “Down with Traditional Family Morals”. “Elect me and I will openly cheat on my spouse because there’s nothing wrong with it”. “I am different than my conservative counterpart because I value infidelity and dishonesty”.
