I thought about calling the show and telling him in response to his claim that house prices were still rising in his hood, that I would short sell one to him and he could be long it. Then we could see who gained or lost? Alas, I would never get past a screener.
I threw out a challenge in the OC register a few weeks back that was met with nothing but “crickets.” (silence in other words) Here was the challenge, I offered to put up 100k along with 9 others with 100k each. Presumably half bulls and half bears. We would buy an actual home we agreed on for 1 Million, each owning 1/10th. Then in one year we would sell it, the bulls sharing all of any gains, and also taking the brunt of any losses out of their share.
What a shock, no takers, and not even one response from a bull. All they did was spew out 15% is already in the bag for this year etc.. What a bunch of phonies!
