    I’ve been following real estate listing with Ziprealty.com and now I noticed in one of the posts
    http://sdhomepix.com/.

    Between the two there is a 2,000 house discrepancy. Is the latter site including Contractor built homes that don’t necessarily show up in the MLS?

    here’s the problem with sdhomepix.com, if you go to North County Inland, they include SW Riverside.

    There are over 700 listings out of the 6900 from the north county inland portion that’s not even in SD County.

    Another problem is they do overlaps. For instance, Julian and Jamul appear twice, both in north county inland as well as east county.

    I can’t vouch for sdhomepix.com, but it sounds like you’ve found the discrepancy, which suggests that ziprealty is the better source. The trend on both sites, however, is showing precisely the same thing… an ominous and rapid building of inventory.
