It’s technically a detached condo – but has a more private backyard than many of the houses in Penant Village because the path that runs behind is fenced off.
(I walk my dog over there several times a week and can’t walk behind this particular house.)
There’s also a twin home that is attached at the garage (so no common wall in the living space.) I don’t see it on the MLS but it’s got a sign out front. That one backs to the canyon and again, no public path behind the house. People fence off around their patio plus some if they want private space. The rest of the grounds are cared for by the HOA. The HOA also gets you a pool, tennis courts, and the lawn care.
But it’s not new construction. Built in 1962. Many of them have a mid-century feel with clearstory windows, etc.
