Am trying to think of scenarios where owners
would like to sell the home for a loss, but
are willing to rent it back, instead of paying
that money towards the mortgage. Only rationale
I can think of is they expect prices to go down
and hence, want to cash in, but what do I know.
Just went contingent today. I looked. At $790, it would be a pretty good deal.. However, comps I think it would command $850k. I’m sure it’s a multiple offer scenario.
