How about the tea party running the government, flu?
Uh, the initial ideas I think were initially right in the very beginning, but come on…There’s a fair share of nut jobs in this “tea party” too…
I say this over and over and over again. I’m not tied specifically to the republican party or such. I just want the government to have no party dominating the executive and the legislative branch..When you have both parties, neither controlling the government, neither can pass drastic spending bills. Don’t kid yourself in thinking the Republicans are going to be much better if they control both branches of government. The only difference is where the pork is going to go….The joke about this “pledge to america” is that it’s the same pledge that both parties always try to make. I guarantee, ain’t gonna happen…
My worst fear is that crap really gets so bad, we have a pendulum swing the other way and rep’s control the government again. That royally suck.
Frankly, imho if you really want the ridiculousness to stop, vote for someone that is neither a democrat or republican if you can. Kick them both out of the government.
Or alternatively, just find a way to make more money, and forget about everyone else (within your ethics morales, etc that you can personally live with).
Really, folks counting on either parties to solve our problems are dreaming. What you should be hoping for is that neither does anymore damage at best.
All this debate over letting the tax break expire or not. Whatever….Do nothing, perfect…Everyone pays for more in capital gains. Beautiful, I’m fine with it. Don’t even both to try to hairsplit people making X need to pay more while people making
