Simple fact to all questions on policy is that lobbyists wrote the bills and legally paid the Congress to pass the bills. Not hyberbole, c’est la vie.[/quote]

This was my biggest gripe against the health care debate last spring – it was pre-determined to leave the for profit health insurers in the system rather than looking at other systems. Our system is broken – and this bill fixes some minor things around the edges – but doesn’t fix the structural problems. Kind of like someone being hit by a car – getting some bandaids and stitches – but no attention for the internal bleeding and broken bones.
