Russell, I’m a city boy but I do very well in the country also. I can be a cowboy and I’m not averse to mucking horse manure or cleaning the barn. The smell doesn’t bother me one bit. If you give me a live chicken, I’m perfectly capable of chopping its head, plucking it and preparing dinner.

You cut their heads off,hang them warm, chest high on some frame by a string around their necks and pull the skin downward until it’s hanging from the egg/poop producing area. Then you incise them and rip the guts out. Throw it in the pot. That’s how us progressives do it anyway.

On the other point you make, I agree with you to a degree…and also with those of us who say that simplicity with or without ignorance could be more fullfilling for lots of us.
