I support El Presidente and I’ll be writing in support the bill. Yes, we should pass that immigration reform bill. That’s the right thing to do.
Unlike most Democrats, I do support the point system. I would go a step further and offer automatic green cards to any BS/BA or above graduate of the top 200 American universities, or MS/MA graduate of the top 200 foreign universities. We should let the smart people in if we want to be competitive.
I fully support letting smart, well-educated would-be immigrants jump ahead of family reunification applicants.
