another important factor is a new community will always get more detractors while it starts off.
the key is 10 years from now, will you have plenty of locations to compete with this new community in term of commute distance, school, weather.
if someone objectively feels that the Stonebridge location is so bad that 10 years from now it will continue to be looked at as an inconvenient location with bad schools and there will be a lot more new home locations in SD that will trump Stonebridge, then one should say so and list those alternative locations so we can finally put this debate to rest.
same with 4S and SEH. All three gets plenty of detractors here on this board. I think all three are very nice developments that if their location fits and you can get a decent price for a home you like, one should go for it and not let any negative commands here get in the way.
