But for your info, the reasons for Oakley isn’t a cool factor. It’s called shatter resistant lens…

Most of the cheapo 20-25 dollar with plastic lenses are not safe, because while they don’t crack like glass, with enough impact to the front of the lens, the plastic shards will crumble to pieces. Not an issue if you have two good eyes and one gets screwed up, but a completely different story when you only have 1 eye that you can see through like me.

Some of the chinese knockoffs for $50 also don’t shatter or splitter either, but those are difficult to find. Of course folks like you never have to deal with those issues, so who gives a shit right?
