I think the best community in Temecula is Meadowview, its large lots, all custom homes, a huge meadow, equestrian area, clubhouse pool, for only $35 HOa, and low taxes, but.. ohhh the houses aren’t trendy enough for the sheeple, so they can but up th McMansions in Harveston, and miss out on the serenity.
I also think Vintage Hills is nice.
DeLuz, LaCresta, Wine Country, are beautiful, and worth the extra drive to escape the drama of metro Temecula….
and the bugs, is that a serious complaint?? Can you say “city slicker”? I’ve been riding mx and mountain bikes in these hills for years, and never had an issue with bugs, and if there were a few bugs, they wouldn’t bother me. When I arrive at my destination at one of these locations, I feel like I’m hundreds of miles away from the whole mall/winchester Rd/margarita/ynez area, which is a good thing. It’s very quiet, mellow, and beautiful. If you like the outdoors, this is a great place, but pricey.
Harveston is OK, I think its overrated, high home prices, high taxes, high HOAs for a Lake and Park thats completely open to the public. The Lake uses smelly reclaimed water that’s not suitable for body contact, and the community is full of yuppies, and rich foreigners.(no, I’m not racist, but there is the communication barrier) Harveston IS ideally located, and is well maintained though.
