The first 4 years of a new Bimmer, you don’t need to worry about the maintenance since it’s included, except tires and gas…

Not sure though why one would want an XI versus say a G35x or a Audi Quattro (just like don’t understand folks that get a Audi without Quattro)…But that’s just me.

7 series are interesting, because for awhile they’ve had their electrical gremlins with the iDrive. Also, they depreciate pretty fast, because they are often switched out for the latest and greatest all the time. 06’s/07’s can be had for around $40 or lower. O8’s slightly more.
Reliability on the 7’s are pretty bad along with X5’s.
I really like the X5’s but couldn’t deal with the gremlins if they were to occur.

I wish they had a 335d in coupe or an A5diesel in the states.
