I have also been a resident of Salt Lake City. I lived on 9000 South. From my apartment parking lot I turned onto 9000 South drove due east for 15 minutes made one right hand turn and BAM! ALTA! 30 minutes from front door to lift… I lived the blessed life back then…
More of a Little/Big Cottonwood fan than a Glitzy Park City type… Though it is amazing to be there during Sundance… More stars than the night sky all within a arms distance…
The springs has gotten a little more conservative remember it is home to many military types and “there are no athestist in foxholes” so in general it is a bit more conservative. People were still very nice there…
