It’s going to boil down to criminal negligence or not…That’s the thing. My bet is on a $10-20b slap on the wrist…Particularly since its….British Petro….It would be an entire different story if this company was CNOOC Ltd or Citco. Guess it was a good thing for CNOOC that they weren’t able to buy Unocal.

My conspiracy theory thought (tin foil hat)… is perhaps the fed doesn’t want this mess to be cleaned up right away….After all, what else are you going to do with 411,000 people after the census is over, especially when most of footing of the bill is coming from the private sector…
