Get your renter’s insurance lined up ahead of time — landlords and insurers tend to be wary of “high risk” breeds, and German shepherds sometimes make that list (along with Akitas, Rottweilers, pit bulls, etc.)

At least you’re not bringing aggressive, territorial, ill-tempered Rhodesian ridgebacks 🙂 You’d need to move waaaaaay out in the desert for enough room to keep them happy.
