I’m just a cheap bastard. That, and I didn’t have celling space, unless I want to cut out part of my upstairs bathroom. I’m sure the workman ship of a Broan is much better than that of any of these hoods, and plus like I said, they aren’t made for looks.

I like the turbine engine sound when I turn on these things. The louder the better. Makes me feel like I’m right under a Boeing 747. If I put a stainless steel lid right next below one of the blowers when it turns on, it just sucks the thing up and holds it in place. Whoohoo!
