Question on VA Loans. The VA will insure a loan and allow zero down financing. Now the limits are obviously fairly unworkable here in SoCal. However millions of Vets across the US including me have access to VA loans (I have used them twice), and they do not require anything down. Do they go as Alt-A, or is the Alt-A, Prime/Subprime decision at that point decided on based upon your credit profile?
