Not creepy if they were in their 20’s – definitely creepy given their age. And I am a big dance fan… I just don’t think the costumes/choice of music was appropriate for pre-teens and early teens.
On the subject of girls activities… I have an acquaintance who’s daughter has been doing competitive cheerleading for 2 years. The daughter is 5!!!! Yes – she started before her 4th birthday. I don’t get it. If for nothing else, the risk of injury is pretty high. She also does beauty pageants.
I’m glad I have sons – the tomboy in my couldn’t handle it if I had a girly-girl daughter.[/quote]
Well there’s nothing wrong with being a beautiful woman or a sophisticated woman or for women want want to feel/act well more attractive…But, I just think some rules are meant to be broken and enough is enough when that’s the only thing one’s trying to sell. I don’t care if other parents want their daughters to do cheer. And if mine ends up that way, so be it. But I’m pretty much going to try to make every damn effort to make her think cheering for other boys is utter bullshit.
