Can I just reiterate the lock box point? We agreed to one with our last rental, and it was a NIGHTMARE. There were agents stopping by without notice, without an appointment, and knocking on our door and waiting 30 seconds before barging in. We felt very unsafe and put out, and finally told the landlord to remove it.
She was desperate to have the house rented or sold and thought that by removing the lock box, she would lose out on potential clients, so she put up a fight. We ended up threatening legal action before she finally relented and had her agent remove it.
