The guy SHOT HIMSELF, so fear of being shot probably wouldn’t have much effect on him. He was BAT SH*T CRAZY. True, if someone around him had been packing he might have killed less people, but he probably still would have gone on a rampage anyway. Trying to analyze an insane person’s behavior is a waste of time.
