Firstly, they will not stop printing. If the Fed doesn’t buy them, the GSEs will, IMHO.
The “good times” will roll through Q3 2010, if not through the beginning of 2011, after which, I think we’ll see the double-dip.
They’re just trying to get more buyers off the fence with these silly announcements.
