Only a small-minded person could read my prior post and see that I clearly stated I was NOT going to make the point you’re accusing me of making. I declined to pursue that line of reasoning despite its availability to me.
As I’ve said throughout this thread: A woman who can support herself (and her kids, if that’s the case) is a GOOD thing. But it’s the exception and NOT the rule. I hope that one day in the future it becomes the rule. But we aren’t anywhere close to being there yet. And that point has been the focus of half of this thread. You just don’t like the data (re: reality) that doesn’t support your worldview.
Sometimes when I read the responses to my posts I wonder which post folks are reading.
