Folks at the my old enthusiast club pretty much said the same thing…Get a windshield made by PPG. Safelite sucks, and so do the cheap windshields from China.
Call your insurance co for a recommendation of places. Most windshield repairers are mobile, so they’ll drive to your place or your work and do it.
Normal cars will set you back about $200, which most likely you’ll pay out of pocket because chances are your deductibles are more than that…(If you have a Bentley, expect to pay $10k for a windshield)
I have heard good things about allstar glass, but I haven’t used them (yet).
