on the other hand, it just might be that the angle is to buy anything that is not a U.S. dollar. stocks, natural resources, anything. Gold may just be an innocent bystander with some appeal because it isn’t directly connected to the future of the USA.

i have no feel for these things, but i’d say it’s starts toget bubbly around 3,000 an ounce. i doubt i’d be able to hang in that long. Whenevr my brokerage account isn’t showing a loss, it’s extremely difficult for me not to sell everything.
