Don’t try to say you aren’t picking on me or anyone, you certainly did. Nice try to not attempt to sound like a jerk, but you basically called me a liar. You don’t know me, even though I’ve been fairly open here.
I replaced a worn fence (on my own), re-fiberglassed my 20+ year old pool (not on my own), and bought enough paint for the outside to repaint often.
And like I said, where is the “needs” in all of this. IE. Do you really “need” a 20 year old pool to be fixed? I’m just pointing out you sound awefully silly to be saying
a) you didn’t mismanage/misestimate your finances
b) try to distinguish yourself from “everyone else” who is short/walking away, thinking you really are different from everyone else in over their heads
c) asking a board whether it’s morale thing/ethics things because you really are different than everyone else because you aren’t type (a) or (b) people.
(a) and (b) aren’t true, so don’t bother spinning it another way….So jumping to (c)… Just do it and be done with it. The fact that you are contemplating this and need reassurance to do this from complete strangers tells me you’re have some morale dilema. If you’re doubting yourself over now, why even consider it? Just do what you want and be done with it…Or walk and let the bank take it back…Yeah you get a credit blemish. Big whoppdeedoo..So many people are going to have that, it’s not gonna be an issue. Grab a beer, enjoy that Charger’s game, and then pull the trigger. It’s as simple as 1,2,3. Who cares what other people think. Not like you’re going to be the type of person that goes talk to a complete stranger “hey, I just walked from my home” and be damn proud of it. So I don’t understand what the big issue is.
