SK: Yes, and emphatically so. The Bush Administration did more to erode our civil liberties and freedoms than nearly any administration before.
In fairness, however, the slide began in the 1950s and accelerated through the 1960s (Hoover’s Cointelpro program) and 1970s (Carter’s FISA), and includes expanded wiretapping and surveillance under Clinton.
Laugh all you want, pal, but we’re all losers here. This shit doesn’t know partisanship and both parties are freely complicit in the destruction.
