[quote=temeculaguy]They just announced they will not suspend it, in true governement style, running out of money should never be a reason to stop spending it. Kidding aside, it seems to be the only stimulus thing that actually worked, and just another reason that my not buying stock in Ford back in march will forever be on my top 10 investment mistakes list.
But I think the government is fvcking serious about continuing this program beyond the $1billion hole…
Hey, I need to make more money selling wireless apps. Can the Fed start a cash for POS mobile phone program to get folks to trade in their old mobile phones with a new smart phone?
And I’m suppose to pay for a marginal increase in taxes for this kind of bullshit next year?…I can’t even hire UBS anymore to hide everything overseas……
Unfvckingbelievable. That’s it. I’m going to buy the biggest gas hog my dollars can buy that is a passenger car…..
By the way TG, you also missed the boat on American Express when it was $18/share….But judging on american spending these days….You might as well double down on Visa or Mastercard stock 🙂
I was also talking to my friend a few days ago. Lawyer friend who makes good money that bought a condo at peak. Dude is doing a loan mod and got his rate reduced significantly (no principal reduction though)…And the dude was laughing about it. I asked him don’t he feel somewhat guilty about the taxpayer footing part of the bill and our next generation getting hit. His response “I don’t have kids, and taxpayer’s problem isn’t my problem”. Nice…..
I use to not care about the government…But I really fvcking hate this administration making a mockery about personal responsibility, whatever is left of that concept.
