flu:
Why all the anger and why are you still here ? Did you sober up from your character-revealing Dr Seuss episode ?
Your point of view on this post has been thoroughly picked apart, debunked, vilified and destroyed by Scarlet/Rt. 66. It is all well documented in the preceding pages.
You have no credibility on this post any longer. You have proven here that you are part of the problem and have no desire to do anything but trash American cars, unions and blue collar workers.
I haven’t asked for a boycott of any or all foreign goods. None of my posts here solicit government handouts. I’ve never weighed in on any of the recent bailouts.
While you have gone off on fifty seven unrelated rants, I have tried to stay focused on one goal.
I have endeavored to come up with a simple solution that everyday Americans can have a shot at achieving without taking too much time from their busy lives. It’s a possible tactic to keep history from repeating itself and allowing more imported brands to get a foot hold here like the Japanese were wisely able to do in the 70’s while everyone, including GM, was asleep at the wheel.
Jeff Bridges, handsome, talented, successful and deservedly wealthy American actor has been shilling for Korean car company Hyundai on TV and radio for quite some time now.
And Hyundai’s sales keep climbing. I would like to put a dent in those numbers but I need your help.
Why don’t you direct your anger towards something that might have a chance of making a constructive change towards leveling the playing field for what’s left of the American auto industry.
It worked with Bruce Springsteen when his fans called him out for supporting the union busting Wal Mart. The world didn’t come to and end. The Chinese didn’t start boycotting what little goods they buy from us. Korea didn’t stop buying their planes from Boeing. Sadly, Wal Mart survived and is still here, bigger than ever.
Go ahead. Click your mouse on the link and be heard. Oh just admit it. You know you really want to. It’ll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Ask Jeff Bridges to dump Hyundai and come back to play for the home team.
Just a side bar: Jeff Bridges was co-star in the 1974 movie Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, which featured a beautiful 1973 Pontiac Trans Am. He has been in over 70 movies in his lifetime.
