The newest house I ever purchased was built in 1963, bought in 1996. Since then I’ve bought houses built in 1952 and the 1920’s.
My advice: buy something that has been around at least 40 years and expect to do some routine maintenance. Beats paying HOA, mello roos and getting an inferior product IMO.
