I think it was pretty clear where you were trying to go with your post about “quality” of foreign makes.

Again, the best way for GM to win back customers is…um build products that appeal to more people. Nothing you and I can do to change that. Ball is completely in GM’s court. If there’s anything to prove, GM needs to build cars that have demand more like the current Camaro, where on average people are paying $5k ABOVE MSRP, and where the inventory is less than 7 days.

People don’t give a shit whether it has a GM/Ford/Honda/Toyota label if you build a product that appeals to demographics. The problem with GM right now is that they have some serious product gaps.

Find me an equivalent car that is similar in size AND driving dynamics as a Bimmer/Audi/Mercedes C…And please, don’t mention the CTS, please that isn’t close, despite how much I respect the CTS Spec V. It’s a good car, handling ok, but big, and beefy. Find me something that was built to the size of a catera (remember those?), something that has tighter suspension, and doesn’t have the “bling bling, yo I’m a gangster” look.
