From your thread topic I can see that you are aware of coming foreclosures and market manipulation. Trust what you see and what common sense tells you. Yes they are only letting a trickle of REOs out onto the market and the inventory is piling up behind a dam that can’t hold forever.

Yes, one would think that logically you should wait out the knifecatchers and assume that this market manipulation by the government either won’t work or won’t last. However, did anyone think things would ever be manipulated to this extent and for this length of time in the first place?
We sold our home in L.A. two years ago and my kids are getting old sitting in our rental house waiting to buy our “real” house. That’s not to say that I’m planning on making a move any time soon, but this drop is being drawn out for so long I don’t think we’ll see the bottom of the L until my elementary school kids are closing in on their high school years. By that time we’ll be thinking about downsizing in anticipation of the kids being out of the house.
