I don’t think this would stop the crash. The dagger in the heart of this bubble will be when lending standards tighten back up. Lenders taking $100,000 hits from all directions will certainly make them rethink lending practices. This will tighten up standards and greatly reduce the buying pool….sending prices plummeting.
