It’s true, though. I had a herd of wealthy Manhattanites roll past me a few days ago in La Jolla. They were wearing top hats, carrying bottles of champagne and had programs from the latest Broadway shows. I saw another herd of them in Del Mar lobbying a liquor store owner to stock the “New Yorker” magazine. They’re everywhere!
