Slightly off the beaten path from Temecula, we had youth football sign ups in Fallbrook during the Avocado Festival this weekend.
It was interesting to note that the number of parents that are paying on the “layaway plan” (small deposit and pay the balance throughout the season) has skyrocketed. And we’re talking fairly affluent families here (families that, in years past, spent a lot of cash throughout the season on parties, pizzas and get togethers).
