This issue was mainly an issue that occured in new construction/reconstruction that occured Katrina. Basically, drywall was in short supply in the east coast, and what ended up happening was some of the builders went to an alternative source (overseas).
This has not been an issue here on the west coast (so far)…
But if your house starts stinking like a rotten egg, it might as well be.
