I am paying 1725 for a 3bd/2.5 ba condo 0.5 mile from the beach in Carlsbad. My lease is up this November so I expect about a 2 – 3% increase. Same exact units are languishing for under 500K. These are nice condos but old (25 yrs.) and small (<1500 sq/ft). I wouldn't even think of buying over 400K.
