I never understood why Lexus ES and RX were so popular here. I mean, the former being a Toyota Camry and Highlander with pleather and different body panels. The latter sharing enough with the Toyota highlander with pleather and different body panels. And how much more the Lexi (plural for Lexus?) were over the toyotas.

(Yeah, yeah before you folks get on the band wagon about saying Audis are rebadged VW’s. Platform sharing is not so extensive starting MK2002. And you can’t say the same thing about BMW or Mercedes)
