If this is government job, just slack off.
Call in sick the days you’re suppose to go.
Or make a convenient excuse that my car is broken.
Run over your foot, or just wear a wrap around your arm to disqualify yourself.

If this was a private sector, I’d say, sorry depending on how much you value having a job these days, you sort of have to take it unless you have an option to go elsewhere.

Btw the way, see if you can get the reason for why you are selected in writing. (email or regular print). You never know when you might need to pull the discrimination lever out of the bunny hat.
