To have inflation you would need wage inflation, without unions it’s near impossible to have wage inflation.
We did away with most unions in the 80’s (other than government workers which is why the government is going BK).
It’s good to work for the government, No social security tax’s (why pay SS when you are working so hard to steal all the SS money for your pension due’s !!!).
