Geithner did not hide money in off-shore accounts as this thread is discussing – he failed to pay Social Security and Medicare taxes for himself for four years.

I would say that Geithner’s mistake (something he obviously should have caught) is more akin to Sarah Palin’s failure to pay taxes on $18K of per diem for living in her own home (something she obviously should have caught).
